It was bound to happen sometime

My DeviantArt account has been suspended. I'm just glad I was able to set up my website, mostly, before the hammer fell. DeviantArt has been feeling like a chore to me lately. One of the reasons I made this website was to try and find a better way to enjoy posting and creating. With their new uploading system, allowing AI based 'Art' to thrive on their platform, and all the other red flags - I'm not too torn up over the loss.

DA was my biggest reach. I had the most people there following my content, so that'll be a blow to visibility. It's not like I can just make a DeviantArt account again and post a journal about the situation and expect every last person who subscribed to my old account would come across it.

So I'm small again.

It's okay. I'm used to being small. We'll build things up from the ground floor. I may be small, but I'm really hard to get rid of permanently! I have no intention of using DeviantArt again, it would take far too much time to just make a new account and reupload everything I had before. No, instead I think I'm going to focus on things that are important in places where I'm welcome.

I have novels to write, a text adventure game to create (Lotessagrad), people to talk to, and a day job to do. On top of that, I've got a life to live. Worrying about recreating my DeviantArt account isn't a priority.
