Anirus lay on his back, unable to breathe as he had been dropped to the ground. Gasping for air, he looked up to the man who had pulled him from his perch. Dark black hair speckled with red like blood, the apathetic man stood over his catch holding his handgun at his side. He momentarily thought about shooting the tiny creature, but instead, decided against it. Bullets costed money, and Anirus was not worth the cost.

"How interesting, I think I'll kill it."

He lifted his foot, digging his heel into Anirus' legs, crushing and twisting them down as the tiny being pleaded for his life. Squeaks of agony were music to his ears as he continued snuffing the tiny being out, before simply wandering off to continue his day, glad to feel a tinge of joy at Anirus' expense...

(This version of Anirus became Adriel, in Cerolian Sagas. Varsi is a Cerolian Sagas character as well, though he's planned to show up way later in the series. Edgy, edgy design straight from 2010 for sure.)
